## Properties

### shutdownDeadline

How long the whole shutdown may run, in milliseconds. Once it elapses seedcord skips
the phases it never reached and exits. A shutdown that interrupts a slow startup waits for
that startup out of the same budget.

Set it below your platform's kill window, leaving three seconds for the log flush after the
phases. Kubernetes sends SIGKILL 30 seconds after SIGTERM by default, and `docker stop` waits 10.
